I had no idea you used to write Twilight fic! Totally not judging
though. I think a lot of us have some skeletons in our fandom closets.

Well, I think most fans would consider the RPF to be the “skeletons” in my closet, which is actually part of why I post my Pinto anon.  And despite the fact that I agree that 90% of the twific, and almost all of the All Human twific (they were vampires, assholes) is crap, I’m actually really proud of the fanfic I wrote over there.  ‘Prelude in C’ and ‘Intermezzo in E Minor’ are both quite serious character explorations, and ‘Intervention’ is basically every kink you’ve ever thought of in one story, just to get it all off my chest {”kinkapalooza!” was the working title).  Speaking of bad source material, one of my biggest frustrations in writing Prelude was the fact that SM had clearly done NO RESEARCH.  Just Googling shit I found problems in her timeline/details.  I was doing research, but also trying to stay completely consistent with canon.  What a tightrope to walk!  I had to fudge in a few places…
