Aww, why so cryptic, anon? If you know something, share.
This totally made me think of the bicycle stealing conspiracy speech in Pee Wee’s Big Adventure
(like the whole scene is of course amazing but start @ around 2:00 for the speech)
When you’ve gone over something again and again and again and again like
I have, certain questions get answered, others spring up. The mind
plays tricks on you. You play tricks back. it’s like you’re
unraveling a big cable knit sweater that someone keeps knitting and
knitting and knitting and knitting and knitting and knitting and
knitting!
That is awesome! Though what came to my mind was more along these lines:
Think about how satisfied and less frustrated you’ll feel when you see your words written down.
Yes, I think now that I’ve thought my way out of the corner (with a great suggestion from my awesome beta @seepunkrun) it will be easier to motivate. Thanks for the support!
Eh I’d say option one. Much as I always want more bleary, you can always just write a one-off sequel someday of you want to. Why beat your head against a wall when the fic is already finished and awesome?
Well, I appreciate the out, but I think I’m okay now. This is part of their story, part of my headcanon for them, and me knowing it and all of you not is somehow unsatisfying to me. I got the help I needed last night to get it on track, and it really won’t take that much rewriting, just tweaking a few scenes and getting a much more satisfying end.
