Another month has come and gone, and though we have waved goodbye to Angst August, it’s time to say hello to Sexy September! As usual, we have plenty of events planned for this month: check them out below.
Monthly Challenge: Sexy September!
We challenge you to make something sexy this month. Kinky, fluffy, hatesex, 00Q, rare pairs–everything is up for grabs. You can be inspired by canon, by sexy artwork, by sexy music, or by anything that grabs you and takes you down the path to hotness.
Does it have to be pure porn? No! But whatever the fic’s rating is, sexual tension or general sexiness should play a significant part!
Does it have to be written? No! ALL fanworks are welcome.
Be sure to tag your sexy fanworks with #mi6cafechallenge so we can find and reblog them!
Writer’s Workshop: September 2nd at 11AM EST
We’re having our first go at hosting a writer’s workshop! And, appropriately, we are beginning at the beginning: our topic is “the basics”!
New to writing fanfic? Always wanted to write a fanfic but weren’t sure how to start? A fanfic veteran who doesn’t mind passing on their knowledge? Once we’ve finished Moonraker, the MI6 Cafe Book Club will be having a light week with one of the Bond short stories, and then we’ll be moving on to Goldfinger!

There are only thirty days left before writer sign-ups close for the 2017-2018 00Q Reverse Big Bang Challenge.
The challenge has 23 Artists signed up to create prompts for writers to claim. Many of our artists will be doing more than one prompt! Currently we have 25 writers signed-up for the challenge, so pretty much a 50/50 split between artists and writers, at the moment.
