[…] After a long while, Gal suddenly showed up, and after 10 minutes of
signing the fans’ posters on the street, she came up by our little
foursome and gave an interview, hugged Lynda Carter, and just looked all
around GORGEOUS. Seriously, she’s quite beautiful on the screen, but
she is ridiculously amazing looking in person. After a few quick
glances at her, my dad and I were told to follow the Warner Bros.
people around to the other side of the carpet, so we could meet Chris.
After 10 or so minutes, we finally got to meet him. Pats for moi for not
shouting, “Your eyes are so damn blue!!!” In all honesty, he was
genuinely a sweet guy, and seemed thankful to be in the film, and was
excited to watch it. He asked where we’re from, and we said Texas. He
then proceeded to say that his mom used to live in a town in Texas; a
town called…Waco. We immediately responded that that’s where we’re
from, and his response: “No SHIT!” We talked for a second or two more,
and then we had to quickly go inside, since the movie was just about to
start. We got to hear from the director, Gal, and Chris right before,
and let me just say, the theatre was gorgeous on the inside, and almost
every single seat was taken. Once the movie started, I saw a flash red
sparkles on the right side of my eye, and it was Gal and her husband,
chilling just 10 or so feet away. I couldn’t help but sneak a peek or
two. Also, props to her for enduring four herniate discs, and STANDING
the entirety of the movie.[…]Anywho, after the film ended, we left for the after-party, which was
just a block or two away. It was an outside event, that basically had
incredibly loud pop music, bumping away. We got some tasty free food out
of it, and even though we basically had to stand in the middle of
everything to eat, it was fun! The highlight of the party definitely
came in the form of a text my dad got which was somewhere in the line
of, “Hey, Chris really liked meeting you guys and would like to talk to
you at his VIP table, if you’re interested.” Hell yeah! After meeting
his assistant, we got to talk to him for a while, about the film, we
talked about Hell or High Water, and other things. Apparently, it was
his decision to meet us again, even though he already held up his end of
the bargain. Needless to say, he’s forever on my thumbs up list.
