Headcanon in Premieres

One of my head canons for my Pinto de Mayo story Premieres is that Chris and Zach used to use
anagrams of their names when they checked into hotels, made reservations
at restaurants, etc.  They’re both word nerds, and I can just see them
sitting in airport terminals giggling as they made up future fake names.
 And boy do they both have a plethora of ridiculous options.

IKR? It couldn’t have been OUR fault… I blame the typo gremlins.

We were absolutely on top of things at midnight the night before the biggest secular holiday of the year. Obviously any typos were from an external source.

We were!  Totally.  At midnight.  After which I altered the PTA budget (because PRIORITIES… I knew which to do first), found an error from the day before, prepped for the morning meeting, and somehow didn’t compulsively check for comments for two hours before going to bed.

ugh, that sucks! it’s good to hear this happens to other people too, though. i saw a post on tumblr that recommended reading your writing in a different format, so it looks different and makes it easier to spot errors. i sometimes just zoom in to make the text bigger on gdocs or read it in the preview window on ao3.

Yeah, I always do that when I have time. Last night though, I did not. I was up until 2 as it was doing PTA shit and then up at 6:30 to prep kids and go to the meeting and then work calls and…yeah. So typos happened. I fixed chapter 1 (I hope)…I’ll look at chapter 2 later. It is strange, though, how things look totally different and problems jump out as soon as you paste it into something new and hit “post.”
