no, do it do ittttttttt
I just opened a new doc. I’ll share when there’s something to look at…
do it do it do it >:)
Yeah…I think I have to. Thanks for the encouragement.
Not that thing. Not the thing people have been waiting on for months, and literally asking me for. The new thing I thought of today because of this stupid website and its stupid pictures and the upcoming fandom holiday…
i’m forever waiting for “what branch of starfleet are you” to reach “what’s your hogwarts house?” level of mainstream
reblog and put in the tags what your starfleet branch is and your dream job, it’s for science
Mix It Up
A/N: A snippet from my Pinto de Mayo fic for Few Words Wednesday.
This is all so new with Chris, or at
least it feels that way. Sure, they had
messed around on press tours through the years and occasionally hooked up in
between when neither of them was with anyone else. They had even shared space for stretches of
time, both of them on alert never to press too hard about whether crashing with
each other was maybe sort of like living together. What’s
truly new is how they’re talking it through this time, taking a real chance
together. They even had decided to wait at first, to avoid getting involved right on the heels of Zach’s big breakup last year. And now, despite the long distance thing,
it’s a “relationship with a capital R,” as Chris had said with relish. The
day
they made things officialthey drove along the PCH in one of the sleek vintage cars that Chris
loves way too much, tooling along like they were a regular couple day-tripping. After
a while they had pulled over to walk along the beach and dig their toes into
the sand. When Zach had reached out and
caught Chris’s pinkie, curling his first two fingers around it, Chris had
ducked his head, smiling in that shy way he has when he doesn’t think anyone is
watching.
6. Favorite character you’ve written? God, that’s hard (my babeees!) I guess Bleary!Chris… especially in the beginning when he’s trying to do the right thing by his friend and not let his own feelings get in his way, but then completely sucks at keeping them at bay. But I like Assumption!Zach, too (kinky bastard).
23. Most anticipated upcoming books? I’m not sure if this means thing *I* most anticipate reading by someone else, or thing I write that is most anticipated. If the former, well, probably New York 2140. Unless you mean fanfic, then probably the next chapter of The Princess Diaries (And Me) or My Pleasure
(fans self). If the latter, definitely the last chapter of Cleaving, which readers have been waiting on for months (sorry!)
24. Do you remember the moment you decided to become a writer/author? Well, I’ve pretty much always told myself stories, especially based on beloved characters. But really it wasn’t until I read Midnight Sun online and it just ended and as I researched it was clear it was NEVER GOING TO BE FINISHED that I got desperate enough to search for endings, and found a wealth of decent fanfiction. That’s when I realized that I could write down the stories I told myself (this is not my day job). I started dabbling, and then jumped right into what became a 250k word novel I’ll never be able to publish for money, but that I LOVED writing. Now it’s a stress release and mental and creative exercise, but very much a hobby. I generally have to ignore responsibilities to have time to write. Worth it, though, when things are flowing.
35. Post the last sentence you wrote. This is from the sprint a few nights ago… “It’s nice, isn’t it?” he whispered. “Feels good.”
