March Motivation – Day Four

I haven’t had much time to write today (weekends are never the best for that, especially with kids around), but I’ve managed to write a couple of hundred words over the past half hour and I’m going to keep going until bedtime! Hopefully I can get a solid amount done. 🙂

Update: 500 words daily goal reached – yay! – and the last prompt fic almost complete. *dances* Now that’s done, I can do some editing with a clear conscience!

Well, I’m still reworking the part I’d already written, so I have about 250 additional words net, but there’s a lot of rewriting and deleting worked into that number.  I’m pleased with how it’s going, though it’s a bit of a slog, and in another half hour I might be done with fixing the setup and onto write in the next scene.

i looked into it and zach is supposedly 3 inches taller than chris. why do they always seem to match height??

It’s an interesting question!  Google tells me Zach is two inches taller, but that could be unreliable.  Even going by that number as “official,” maybe one of the numbers was rounded up a little (what if Zach is actually 6′ 1 ½???).  Two inches isn’t such a huge difference, though (an ex of mine was two inches taller, and we often looked a similar height in photos.  He also used to tip his chin up when he stood next to me while I wore heels, but everyone sees through that ploy, bro). 

So I wouldn’t put good money on being able to discern a two-inch height difference in photos. Then when you take into account shoe sole thickness or hair floofiness or Chris standing up straight in his legs-apart leading-man pose while Zach does a more casual hipster stance, I think we might not be able to see it so easily.  But hey, let’s look anyway!

Zach does look taller here to me, but they’re angled a bit oddly so I don’t know if all viewers would have that same impression.  What we can certainly all agree on, however, is that Chris’s hips are narrower.  I agree so hard that I stared at their paired pelvises for twenty minutes before moving on to the next photo.

Again, Zach looks taller to me, but it might be that Chris is just a little downstage in this shot.  Also, they’re both flaunting some hair floof in this one, which can make height assessments tricky.  Additionally, Zach looks like he’s about to produce a ring from his pocket and propose, but of course that’s absurd because we all know this was taken on their honeymoon so they’re already married. 

The initial of-a-height photo you commented on.  Also the photo of them at their prom.  So if Chris looks a little taller, it could be because Zach’s about to sprint up more in college.  And because Chris is feeling all big because he sprang for the stretch limo. 

Again, similar-ish height appearance.  But Zach’s bending his knee for some reason, which could affect our perception, Possibly because he wants to strike a flattering pose on the Great Wall, or even more likely,because he’s sizing up the person taking the photo and getting ready to get all up in their face so that they’ll back off his boyfriend. 

We’re just going to have to lay them out on a bed next to each other to settle this, aren’t we?  FOR SCIENCE!  

This is the kind of quality content I dearly miss seeing on my dash. Peer reviewed studies in Pinto. There are not nearly enough scientific studies imo.

YESSS, and he looks so smug about it too!  Chris’s seeming height advantage might be ascribed to the way he’s apparently positioned himself a little in front of Zach.  Or Chris might be preening and holding himself so he looks taller because Zach’s cupping his fine ass he’s just so proud of Zach’s accomplishments.
