It’s the tongue. In every Berlin interview, Zach looks Chris up and down and licks his lips like some benevolent predator.
That moment when you can tell exactly which of your AO3 commenters are Tumblr Beans and which aren’t, based on whether they wrote “BERLIIIIN!!!!!” or “Berlin?”
The tally is now 5 to 2, and it’s cracking me up so much…
Though I suppose I should say “vintage tumblr beans” since the newer ones weren’t around for the mayhem that was the tinhatting of the STID press tour. We may need @semperama or @suedescripture or @rabidchild67 to host a masterclass…
I have this dream of someday making a super-detailed Pinto timeline complete with links to interviews/pictures/etc. but it seems like it’d be so much work that I’m loathe to actually, like…start it. In the meantime, the Berlin tag over at @pintoinlove is a fun dive. Just be sure you’re ready for the overwhelming feels you will experience.

Lol, I’ve literally just read it and commented with BERLIN! XD
I saw! I should probably make an author’s note on how this fic has sort of become a love letter to the fandom and the collective tinhats and such…I’ve had Beans test icecream flavors for me, recommend I use certain pictures in the fic, and of course the Berlin dialogue allows me to say so much in the fic with just that word…at least for the folks who are here. For the others, I’ll have to do a bit of exposition. But I love that I can do that, and people here will KNOW. It’s fun.
