I know he threw the rest of the cast in but read the text and it’s really singling out Chris.  The choice of pic being Kirk and Spock, but really its not Kirk and Spock is it?  It’s Shatner and Nimoy, in costume, between takes, laughing and looking happy as anything.  And Zach says “we are them” and “they are us” and that says everything. 

And then the end of the text.  The filming is ending but just like Shatner and Nimoy, they have the rest of their lives together for their friendship. Forward indeed.

Um, yeah, it’s not a freaking cast pic. It’s only THE CUTEST SHATNOY PIC EVER. I’M GETTING PROGRESSIVELY MORE EMOTIONAL

All I can think is that he and Chris smoked pot before running lines, and the only reason we can’t see Pie is because he’s laughing so hard he’s actually curled up on the floor gasping for breath.  Because every line sounds like innuendo. 

Z: “They have penetrated our defense grid.”

C: Kinky.

C: Fine.  “Thrusters at maximum.”
