i am pro no frosting. this is a true revelation. who wants to marry me?

I’m pretty monogamous, so I’m afraid I’ll have to take a pass. However, I’m happy to come eat your frostingless cake. There’s also “Scantily Clad is the New Naked” (http://ericaobrien.com/blog/category/wedding-cake/#.WCnR4txWlpF) which is where they use just enough frosting to hold everything together. It also looks vaguely like birch bark, which I find appealing. Anyway, cake research… for reasons.

Just wanted to say thank you for posting the whole of that huge chapter, rather than splitting it. I really needed that dose of warm fuzzies today. It was literally the best present. <333 ~Loves-pie

You’re very welcome, my dear!  It really is one chapter…I just allowed the length to get away from me because I wanted their perfect day to be really full, and indulged myself if every single thing I love about Pittsburgh.  But in the end, even though it means I only have 500 words of the next chapter and you all probably have a long wait again, I felt it needed to all be posted at once.  Without the end, it just feels like “and they did stuff.”

ah, word. yeah, 60 is a tough one. i was on the fence, but ended up reading a thing that basically boiled it down to “this has a good goal, but it will be executed poorly” and mentioned a lot of privacy concerns that seemed important. and yeah, 54… i’m going yes, because i like open information, but it wasn’t one i was super convinced by either way.

Yeah, my first instinct on both was yes, but I’m trying to chase the unintended consequences… I’m almost convinced of no on 60, and almost convinced of yes on 54
