Are you one of those writers who does outlines? Maybe you could do one and then just fill out little bits at a time? I dunno. My only idea, sorry. On the other hand, you’ve really been cranking out the chapters lately; if you take a lil break there’s nothing wrong with that

The irony is I’ve thought about this chapter every night for the last week as I’ve fallen asleep, and I know exactly how I want it to go then… I just fumble when I’m actually in front of the computer…

yeah, but in your 100 you had time and dates. Shouldn’t be included. That pulls it a few less.

I’m pretty sure “real” drabble challenges would count them. This is just for fun, though, so anything short will do. Just speaks to my general lack of concise wording, though…

This is adorable and Chris and his love of food. It’s a good thing he’s one of those lucky people with a fast metabolism

And a substantial exercise routine, but yeah, I decided that for this Chris, baked goods are sort of his SQUIRREL! where he’s easily distracted by them.  And they make for good cover when you need to quickly change the subject because your feelings are showing…

That’s kind of you, but I assure you it’s not true… and as @seepunkrun and @nixducky can attest, short concise fics are not my forte, and estimating fic length while I’m still writing is something I’m absolute rubbish at, because if the characters have more to say, I just keep typing…
