Hey! I have a question… doesn’t it it sound like “wake up with him” in Honey Moon instead of “wake up with you”? Also, does he know you referenced his song for your fic?!
NO! And you can never tell him! My RL does not know what I write, except for Geek Boy Professor, because I promised to share everything with him in front of the universe and a bunch of friends and family. David can’t know. And actually, he would probably take down that youtube if he saw it… He’s very sensitive about people streaming entire songs for free, and I totally understand it considering how he struggles financially and songs are only a buck. But I figure I own all of his stuff, and I’m basically sort of advertising what a talent he is, so I can justify linking one song to my story.
Regarding the lyrics, I agree that line sounds off. I always heard it as “Honey Moon wake up right here” but that’s not what was listed on the site, so…
I like “with him.” Works in my story. David is definitely straight, though, so unlikely that he would sing that.
