Hi I’m a big fan of your bleary verse and I was wondering if you’d continue to do little one shot fics in that verse after you finish Cleaving. I really really am in total love with your Zach and Chris interaction as well as their interaction with Nathan. It just feels so real. I’d be really sad if you make the decision not to, but there’s no pressure please don’t feel any pressure. Thanks for all you do and write!

Oh, thank you so much!  

I honestly don’t know.  I never
really intended to write much more after Bleary, though I posted a
deleted scene right after publishing.  Where I’d left them… they could
have stayed there indefinitely.  But then little moments came to me, so
I wrote them out.  And then Cleaving came to me, and that’s a full
story, though it’s taken me ages to write it.  So I’m going to say I
have no plans to write more of these boys, but you never know.  Their
voices definitely don’t intrude on my mind as much as they used to, and
that’s usually why I write.  To make the voices stop.

Finding
time to write has been harder lately.  I have a Spirk story to finish,
and want to migrate a story from another fandom over to AO3, so I have
things to keep me busy while I wait for the Pinto voices to get
insistent enough to make me write.  And those Pinto voices might not be
Bleary.  I’ve been thinking about the Assumptions/Revelations/Weight of a
Gaze boys, and the new disaster Pinto fic keeps teasing around the
edges of my mind, as well as ideas for 00q.  So I don’t know if I’ll
return to the Bleary boys anytime soon once Cleaving is finished (and I
expect 2 more chapters and an epilogue for that).  But they’ve surprised
me before.  And returning to them is always like having old friends
visit.  So if something compelling comes to mind, I won’t resist.

So we’ll see.  Even as I say no, I’ve
started to think that a Christmas short might be in order again.  
Though I started Cleaving last Christmas and look where we are…

Often times you’ll find a need for a foreign culture in your writing. But you can convey a sense of a vibrant, multicultural world without having to delve into the minutiae and idiosyncrasies of every nation. It’s fine to flesh out nationalities and ethnicities that recur or play major roles in your story. But don’t bog readers down with information that doesn’t help the story. And once you’re at peace with leaving out those details in the story, you’re free not to develop those low-level details.

Petals and Beestings ~ Billy Boyd/Orlando Bloom, 1800w ~ Billy is fired up and easily aggravated, and some flowers are just too perfect.

Wait, what? Haha, this one is a personal fave because it’s based on personal experience, and uh, everybody has a secret otp, okay? I was literally there, you guys. Orlando fucking Bloom stood right next to me (ME, Suede, fangirl extraordinaire) in a divey hole in the wall in LA, drinking a gin and tonic with a grunt behind him, and watched Billy Boyd sing really sexy songs like he was the most beautiful thing. I had filthy thoughts.

The Princess Diaries (And Me) ~ Pinto AU, WIP ~ Chris is a Berkeley Literature Major with an obsession
for all things fairytale. Zach is a walking scandal of European high
society, until he unwillingly becomes heir to a throne. While one has
big ambitions for the future, the other runs from his responsibilities,
and an unlikely alliance develops.When certain truths are
revealed to both of them, can two unlikely princes cope with their new
reality? Is there a forbidden fruit, an evil queen, a benevolent king, a
kindly grandmother, a little mermaid, and a knight in shining armor?
Does true love really win in the end?

Yes it’s a WIP, but I’m finishing it! And, um. I love it a lot. A lot a lot. Updates monthly! I’m about to drop another chapter shortly!

This for this, @ato-the-bean! I’ve got 239 works on AO3 and that’s most definitely not all of them. I still have a monstrous amount to migrate over from LJ. Of the AO3 ones, though, here are my favourites in no particular order: 

Black Tie Affair  (Sterek) – This is the only novel-length piece I’ve written that I’m actually proud of. It’s a Playboy-Teen Wolf fusion and I just really, really love the way it turned out. 

If Found, Please Return to Billy Boyd (Monaboyd) – It’s no secret that I’m much better at microfic than I am at long pieces, and for all the 100 words in this fic, I love the way it came together. It’s a BDSM piece that I feel like hit all the points I wanted it to hit in just the right way. 

All-American Girl (Casey/Zeke) – I absolutely love fics that genderbend in all the ways (maybe it’s because I’m pan, but eh). This is a story about a girl who just wants to be a girl, and her boyfriend lets her. 

The Domestication of Stiles and Derek (Sterek) – I can’t not put this juggernaut on this list. Domestication is a 350k+ monster I’ve been writing for over two years with two different cowriters. It’s just a giant soap opera, but I can’t deny that it has a special place in my heart. Big shout-out to @arver7 for her help. Derek just wouldn’t be the same if she wasn’t writing him.

Rush, Slam, Crash (Pinto) – I feel like I needed to put at least one Pinto on this list, and my first is definitely my favourite. I have a bit of a drug kink, and I love Chris’s vulnerability in this fic. The scene of him in therapy talking about the scotty dogs on his pajamas is absolutely my favourite.

I’m sure I have at least 100 more favourites, but these are the ones off the top of my head.
