That is Zach’s Instagram post from Soldier Field in Chicago the night Obama was re-elected.

Ah… That makes sense. I was having trouble imagining ZQ this unironically excited about something patriotic, but if Obama was involved…

I know he threw the rest of the cast in but read the text and it’s really singling out Chris. The choice of pic being Kirk and Spock, but really its not Kirk and Spock is it? It’s Shatner and Nimoy, in costume, between takes, laughing and looking happy as anything. And Zach says “we are them” and “they are us” and that says everything.

And then the end of the text. The filming is ending but just like Shatner and Nimoy, they have the rest of their lives together for their friendship. Forward indeed.
