*beams* Thanks! It’s such a small accomplishment, really. I wonder if I share the drabbles when they’re ready for voting if y’all would be able to pick my style out of the lineup, even though it’s a different ship. Hmmm.
It felt so fucking good, punk! I considered asking you to beta, but I don’t think it’s your ship, and I also think that submissions are “anonymous” for voting, and then owned after “winners” are announced. So sharing it ahead of time is probably not allowed. But I feel like a winner regardless, just for submitting.
As in, saw a prompt, got inspired, wrote, and actually finished something.
It’s not Pinto (and maybe that’s why it worked), and it’s just a 250-word drabble for a challenge. But still! That’s the most writing I’ve accomplished in months. And it was fun (as in, this is my hobby). I remember what it’s like to write for fun! I don’t know if I can take this momentum and use it to finish Cleaving, but I’m going to try.
Okay, so a lot of us Pinto writers are having difficulty figuring out what to write for Pinto de Mayo, so I thought I’d try to kick off a mini prompt fest for us! I have no idea how well this will work on tumblr, but it’s worth a try. If you guys have ideas for fics you’d like to see written, please reblogor replyto this post with your prompts! Since there’s only about a month left to write, try to gear your prompts toward fics that can be written in, say, 10,000 words or less. Every prompt on this post will be fair game, so authors feel free to check it often (and make sure to check the notes for replies/the various people who maybe have reblogged it)! I’ll keep reblogging this every so often to remind people to add to it, but if you could get your prompts in within the next week so people have plenty of time to write, that would be best!

It does suck, but I think I might be slightly better tonight than last night. And I know they’ll wait, but they’ve been in that tub a long time. They probably look like raisins now. Not at all sexy. Sigh.
