Sunday Six
I know it’s Wednesday but I completely forgot to do my Sunday Six on Sunday, so here it is! This is from a WIP of mine wherein Q-Branch has a visitor and Bond is grudgingly insecure and jealous.
The IT man is the
only member of the American party allowed into some sections of
Q-Branch, and he stays in close proximity to Q in a way that makes
Bond growl. Bond has read the file on him (the file which no one
aside from Mallory and a few department heads was supposed to see):
Michael Lyang, 32, US-born, only child of South Korean immigrants,
highly valued, one of the top cyber security and intelligence positions
in the American secret services.He’s in Q-Branch all the time.
His hair is edgily dyed white and styled to sweep over his forehead
in a wing-like manner, he’s got three earrings in the shell of his left
ear, and he makes bedroom eyes at Q when they discuss code.Bond hates him.

YOUR BOOKS ARE THE DEUCE
And I would read them in a chair,
And I would read them with a bear.
Or on a stair, why I declare,
I would read them ANYWHERE!

1. I have a thing that I should be writing. It’s sweet and sexy.
2. All that’s coming into my head is dialogue for something new, in a fandom I’ve never written, for a story I haven’t plotted. The dialogue is all snark.

March Motivation
As I’ve produced a pitiful amount of writing lately (tbh, I’ve struggled to even open my docs most days), I’ve decided to try to combat it with a new resolution. Like I do in November with NaNo, I’m going to attempt to write at least something during every single day of March. There won’t be a daily word goal or anything (although even 500 would be great), I just want to get back to writing something daily – even if it’s just a paragraph. Because I’m never going to get anything done stuck in this rut. And in order to hold myself accountable, I’m going to post about it daily on here (fyi, the tag to block will be #marchmotivation).
If anyone else would like to join me, the more the merrier. I think having a writing buddy/buddies would be even more helpful and encouraging. We can celebrate the good days, commiserate the bad, and generally cheerlead each other through the month. So… any other struggling writers interested? @ato-the-bean? @semperama? All are welcome.
